Lauren Capozzi is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and the founder of Heal As You Grow. She received her graduate degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, and is both a certified EMDR therapist and an EMDRIA-approved consultant. Lauren’s approach is collaborative and grounded in Systems and Attachment theories, while also honoring each person’s natural ability to heal. She incorporates body-based therapy and EMDR to support individuals and families in working through trauma and life disruptions.

Lauren is deeply passionate about creating a space where clients feel heard, accepted, and supported in their healing. She also finds great meaning in mentoring fellow therapists, believing in the importance of providing healing for the healer. Originally from Tennessee, Lauren now lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with her husband and their three young sons, Myles, Baxter, and Sebastian.
