Amber holds a Bachelors of Science in English Education from Boston University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University. She specializes in trauma, complex trauma, relationship issues, and anxiety. She has significant experience and enjoys working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD and she is a neurodiversity-affirming clinician. This means she operates with a strengths-based approach toward neurodiversity and will be glad to adapt her communication style and interventions to meet the client’s needs.

Amber’s favorite part of being a mental health professional is celebrating the bravery it takes to ask for help and make positive changes in your life. She loves integrating creative art therapy techniques to help clients tell their stories. She also uses EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, play therapy, and other interventions as appropriate. Lastly, Amber believes in the power of collective healing and loves facilitating groups, so keep an eye out for her group therapy offerings!
