Master's Level Clinician

Joan received her Master's of Education in Mental Health Counseling and School Adjustment Counseling from Bridgewater State University. Joan has accumulated experience working across various settings, including a trauma-sensitive elementary school, public health agency, and currently as a member of a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team supporting first responders across Massachusetts. In addition to her work, Joan volunteered for seven years facilitating a grief support group. She is deeply committed to social justice and inclusivity, with extensive experience working with the LBGTQ+ community, ensuring a safe and affirming space for all individuals. 

Her favorite quote is "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives," by Annie Dillard. Joan strives to be a dedicated partner in your mental health journey, offering the support needed for personal growth and healing through life's challenges and transitions.
