CAITLIN MELONE

Caitlin received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School

Adjustment Counseling from Bridgewater State University. She has experience working with

children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient, public schools, and

an adult day treatment center.

 

Caitlin’s collaborative approach to the therapeutic relationship fosters an environment where her

clients feel safe to be vulnerable and open to the healing process. Her theoretical approach is

Humanistic, and person centered, and she utilizes modalities such as strength-based, Cognitive

Behavioral Therapy, and psychoeducation. Caitlin is lighthearted and down to earth and meets

clients where they are to help guide them towards their treatment goals.

 

Caitlin works with a variety of clients and presenting concerns including, relationship issues, life

transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She also has experience providing

support to parents and caregivers struggling with stress related to the special education process

and school related services.

 

Caitlin lives locally on the South Shore and enjoys spending time with her family, including her

husband, 2 teenage children and her labradoodle, Copper. She is a lover of all things summer,

including beaching and gardening.
