Maheen was raised in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Massachusetts for college, where she now resides. She is currently a Doctoral student working toward her PsyD in Clinical Research, with a primary focus on children and families facing adversity and building resilience. Maheen is also deeply passionate about Asian Mental Health, an area of emphasis that holds personal significance for her.

Maheen takes an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each client. She draws from a variety of therapeutic models, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance-Based Treatment, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
